About
Peer review ends when a paper is published. This is what happens after.
A place to record specific, checkable concerns about papers with at least one Bangladeshi affiliation — read by a moderator before any of it becomes public.
What this is
Problems found after publication — a duplicated figure, a control group reused from another study, a reference that was retracted before submission — have nowhere obvious to go. This is that place.
Records come from Crossref, PubMed and arXiv, and are refreshed daily. Each paper carries the journal's own status, and only the journal's:

This site never assigns those. They are read from the publisher's record and shown as found. A paper with no notice is exactly that — a paper no journal has acted on.
How moderation works
Anyone with an account can raise a concern. Nothing appears immediately. Every comment goes to the same queue, and a moderator reads it before anyone else can.
Approved
The comment publishes and attaches to the paper.
Changes requested
The concern is plausible but unusable as written — usually because it names no figure, table or section.
Rejected
With a reason recorded. The comment stays private to its author.
You choose per comment whether to post under your assigned pseudonym or your real name. Every moderation decision and role change is written to an audit log.
What belongs in a comment
Describe what is observable in the paper, and say where to look. The same concern can be written so a reader can check it, or so nobody can. Only one of those publishes:
Publishes
“Figure 2C and Figure 4A appear to share three bands after rotation. The panels are labelled as different conditions.”
Names the figures. Any reader can open the paper and look.
Rejected
“These authors fabricate data and this is not the first time.”
Alleges intent, points at no evidence, and cannot be checked by anyone.
- Point at the record, not the person. The paper can be checked; a motive cannot.
- Give locators. Figure, table, section or reference numbers.
- Show your working. If you tried to reproduce something, say how, so someone else can repeat it.
- Errors are not misconduct. Most of what gets found here is a mistake.
If your paper is listed here
Being indexed is not an accusation. Most indexed papers carry no comments and no notice — the index is the whole corpus, not a list of suspects.
If a concern has been raised about your work, you can reply on the thread. Register as an author of the paper and a moderator confirms it, after which your reply is marked as an author response. Author replies go through the same queue as everything else.
If you believe a published comment breaks the rules above, report it from the comment itself. A moderator will look again.
Terms
Comments are the views of the people who wrote them, not of PaperSleuth BD. Moderation checks whether a concern is specific and checkable. It is not a verification that the concern is correct.
Nothing here is a finding of research misconduct. Only a journal, an institution or a funder can make one.
Accounts that repeatedly submit unsupported allegations, or that use the site to target individuals, are suspended.
